Personal motto: Be fair. Work hard. Do it right
Having worked at JMA since 1991, Ryan considers the people he works with at JMA as part of his family – in addition to his 10 grandchildren and his wife of nearly 37 years (they work in the garden together).
While family is paramount, Ryan’s favorite part of his job is to stand with the team, after working with them from start to finish, and taking pride in the finished project. His motivation and inspiration comes from the appreciation JMA has shown its people for their hard work. “I feel like I’m part of a team. I have never heard Jim Murphy say ‘I built this.’ He always says ‘We built this.’” JMA also allows him to work outside, learn new things and get to know the guys on the projects.
