Juan takes great pride in work, describing it as follows: “I had the opportunity to install the paneling and shelving at a beautiful residence wine cellar. What made it special was having the opportunity to work with old growth clear redwood recycled from wine vats.
“At another residential project I did the best work of my finish carpenter career, working on columns, bunk beds and paneling in one wing, built oak false beams in all the east wing bedrooms, put together a very complex ceiling paneling and crown detail in the living and dining rooms and installed ceiling panels in the great room.”
The best part of Juan’s job is looking back at the end of the project and seeing a successful final result. JMA gives him the opportunity to work on exceptional projects and knowing that the company cares about its employees as well as its clients is important to him.
Not everyone knows that Juan coached fast-pitch girls’ travel softball for eight years and that he enjoys trap shooting.
