Wine Country Enclave – Additional projects
Numerous smaller projects around this property preceded our building of the main home.
Art Studio/Office: This contemporary space features cedar siding and Ipé wood decking.
Pool: The double-infinity-edged pool with spa beckons. Local Syar stone was used on vertical retaining walls surrounding.
Cottage: Considerable remodeling of an existing cabin resulted in this quaint cottage. Existing wood floors in the parlor and hall were refinished to blend with new.
Hill House: Large-scale remodeling entailed retrofitting existing foundation to accommodate larger windows and lift-and-slide doors, and adding additional foundation for screened porch. The main living area’s floor level was lowered to improve the view.
Boathouse: With its operational water wheel, and dock for a rowboat, this boathouse provides an upper deck for launching zip line rides to the other side of the pond.
Entertainment Barn: An old ranch barn became a casual space for entertaining. The exterior artfully blends a mix of existing and reclaimed redwood siding. Interiors feature stained concrete floors, cabinetry of reclaimed barn wood, and Italian leather panels in the bar. An extensive garden and small residence/office for the gardeners complete the property’s rural appeal.
