American AgCredit National Headquarters
TLCD Architecture of Santa Rosa has designed a handsome and unique contemporary building for this prominent agriculture financing firm’s national headquarters. Located at the entrance to the Santa Rosa Airport Business Center, the uncommonly shaped lot contributed to the inspiration for the building’s design, which echoes that of the property. The design features two enclosed buildings, linked by pedestrian bridges and a central courtyard. The exterior cladding is of reddish-brown colored zinc panels, sometimes perforated for partial shading, combined with areas of exposed curtain wall. Moment frame construction is provided for the substantial structural spans of the large interior open spaces. A highly energy-efficient displacement air distribution system under the raised floors is designed to support superior air quality to the open plan work environment.
