“JMA is among the best general contractors we’ve worked with. Their service is personalized, of the highest quality, and they keep our clients happy.” — Richard Beard, BAR Architects, San Francisco
Recycled timber and featured stonework add rustic beauty to this inviting home.
The remodel and expansion of this custom residence in Healdsburg also included adding the pool and studio barn. The project was designed by architect Richard Beard of BAR Architects with interiors by Jacques Saint Dizier. Photos are by Doug Dun of BAR Architects and Tim Maloney of Technical Imagery Studio, with the exception of the last two "BEFORE" photos. Since the original remodel and addition in 2006, the home was sold and the new owners hired JMA to do some more remodeling. See our Tuscan Hillside Home and Barn - Encore project for photos of the remodel.
A Mediterranean-style home with 8,500 square feet of living space, this home features recycled old beams and beautiful cabinetry. Terraced into the hillside and overlooking the valley and vineyards below, the grounds are handsomely landscaped and feature a vanishing edge pool. A separate barn with a copper roof doubles as an office space.
